Problem faced #
If you are a MiTS user on Windows 7 or 32-bits operating system device, you might encounter an error when you try to import tracing drawing into the software. The error message might come out like the image below.

How to solve the problem? #
Don’t worry, there is nothing wrong with your device or the drawing file itself. This issue happens because MiTS does not work well with .dwg file type when running on Windows 7 or 32-bits operating system devices. Just make sure that your drawing file is saved in .dxf format.
Steps to save drawing file in .dxf format #
- Open your drawing file.
- Click on the “C” letter at the top left corner (“A” if you use Autocad).

- Hover your cursor to “Save As”, then select “Other Formats” and “Save Drawing As” pop up dialog will come out.

- At the “Save Drawing As” pop up dialog, input the file name that you want and at the “Files of type” dropdown, you can choose the appropriate version of .dxf accordingly. Then, you can proceed to click the “Save” button.

- Open back your MiTS file and try to import the drawing again. You should be able to import the drawing without any issue.
