In this guide, you will be directed on how to change the settings for your retaining structures including height range of your retaining structure. You are also able to find the steps to change the dimension of the retaining structure according to the shape.

Where to Assign Retaining Structure #

When you have determined where to assign the retaining structure, you may select the platform and assign it at the spread input. To select the platform, you need to make sure that you click on “Edit” at the single platform and when the cursor change to ⬆️, you may click the desired platform. Then, go to spread input and click on the three dots at the Height column. At the Platform Editor tab, you may assign the retaining structure by ticking the box at the edge accordingly. Lastly, just click OK.

Change Wall Shape #

You may change the wall shape of the retaining wall according to your design. To change the wall shape setting, go to Option > Project Settings > expand Earthwork > click Retaining Structures. Then you may change the wall shape by clicking the three dots button accordingly. Please make sure that you press “Enter” after any changes before you click OK.

Change Dimension #

You may change the dimension of the retaining wall according to your design. To change the dimension setting, go to Option > Project Settings > expand Earthwork > expand Retaining Structures > expand Wall Shape > click the shape that you want to change. Then you may change the dimension accordingly. Please make sure that you press “Enter” after any changes before you click OK.

Change Height #

Changing height range to match different type #

You may change the range of height and name of the retaining wall according to your design. To change the height setting, go to Option > Project Settings > expand Earthwork > click Retaining Structures. Then you may change the name and height range accordingly. Please make sure that you press “Enter” after any changes before you click OK.

Changing minimum height #

When you assign retaining structure to one of your platform edges, you may find that it is not shown when you open the cut section view. This may be due to the height of your retaining structure that does not fall within the range.

To change the height setting, go to Option > Project Settings > expand Earthwork > click Retaining Structures. Then you may change the minimum height. Please make sure that you press “Enter” before you click OK. You are supposed to be able to view the retaining structure in cut section after changing the setting.

Viewing Retaining Structure at Cross Section #

1. Firstly you need to create a cross section line along your platform. Go to Earthwork Module > Input > Individual (Cut Section) > go to drawing input box > click once until cursor showed “+” sign > draw the cut section line > right click on mouse > click Show Cut Section.

2. The retaining wall will be indicated in yellow color according to the wall shape that you assign. Please note that you need to generate the slope first.
