“Open Loop” in road is used to open the loop of a closed road design whereby the Start and End point are at the same location, in which users may encounter such situation when modelling a roundabout. For closed loop, any amendments or additional of points, the design will be within the loop. Therefore, if users are required to make amendments outside of the loop, users have to click on “Open Loop”

Steps on how to use “Open Loop” #

Click on;

Horizontal > Line > Right click on masterstring > Click Open Loop

Image 2 Activate first the Horizontal and Line tab, followed by right clicking on masterstring and click on Open Loop

Closed loop is now opened and users may add points outside of the loop
