Existing Road #

To change the gradient of carriageway, shoulder and verge of existing road, go to:

Carriageway #

Super-elevation > Spread Input > Adjust Cross Slope Rate % value

Shoulder #

Road Width > Properties tab on RHS > Adjust Shoulder Cross Slope,% value  

Verge #

Options > Project Parameters > Road > Analysis > Design > Verge Slope, % (Adjust  

the value)

* Verge slope gradient is calculated independently if “Verge & shoulder Slope Independent” is ticked. If it is unticked, verge slope is calculated cumulatively from shoulder slope. Calculation of the gradient can be referred in the spreadsheet. Click Here.

New Road #

All values set in the Parameter will be applied towards new road design.
