MiTS offers users options between two types of Cut Sections – Single View (Individual) and Model (Title Block), both accessible within the Earthworks and Road Modules.
Apart from the different drawing scaling behavior for the two types of cut sections in MiTS, it is also important to note that the export units also vary from each other.
Single View (Individual) #
When cut/cross sections exported using Single View (Individual), the unit of measurement will consistently adhere to the chosen settings within the ‘Export Formats’ options – choices include meter, kilometer, millimeter, inch, and feet.
Options > Project Parameters > Export Formats > Drawing Export Units

Road Cross Section Exported in Meter #
Model (Title Block) #
As for cut/cross sections exported using the Model (Title Block), whatever parameter set in the Exporting unit doesn’t matter, and the unit used in the Model isn’t really important .
What’s important is the layout. To interpret the scale of the drawing properly, the measurements will need to be multiplied by the corresponding scale value that has been set. For further clarification on how to interpret the scale, users may refer to here for guidance.
