Utility Pipe Indication Levels

In the Utility Modules (Storm Water, Sewer, and Water), you can hover your cursor over the pipe lines in the longitudinal section to view their level information. This feature helps in identifying pipe positioning and performing clash detection when pipes cross or run in close proximity.

The following abbreviations will be used in the utility modules:

Storm Water Module #

  1. DTL (Drain Top Level) – Top level of the drain
    • DTL will be displayed only when the drain is selected as closed conduit (i.e.: pipe culvert, box culvert)
    • DTL will be displayed as either the outer top or inner top depending on the pipe type.
  2. DIL (Drain Invert Level) –  Invert level of the drain (inner bottom)
  3. DBL (Drain Bottom Level) – Bottom level of the drain (outer bottom)

DTL (Drain Top Level) – Outer Diameter of the top part level
DTL (Drain Top Level) – Inner diameter of the top part level
DIL (Drain Invert Level)
DBL (Drain Bottom Level)

Sewer Module #

  1. STL (Sewer Top Level) – Sewer top level (inner top)
  2. SIL (Sewer Invert Level) – Sewer invert level (inner bottom)

STL (Sewer Top Level) – Inner Top
SIL (Sewer Invert Level) – Inner bottom

Water Module #

  1.  WIL (Water Invert Level) – Invert level of the water pipe (inner bottom)

WIL (Water Invert Level) – Inner bottom pipe

You can hover your cursor over crossing drain/sewer/waterpipe to view the top and bottom levels for better clash checking.
