Survey Points Checking #
Users can check the correctness of survey points imported before start the project modelling through:-
A. Survey points can be accessed from the Earthwork and Road module.
In Earthwork; Input>>Survey Points>>Spread Input
Sort the Z elevation column by clicking the arrow ∆ in Survey Points >> Spread Input.
In Road; Input>>Survey Points>>Spread Input
Sort the Z elevation column by clicking the arrow ∆ in Survey Points >> Spread Input
B. Original ground level terrain generated in Main >> 3D View
Note:
Users can delete incorrect survey points imported by selecting them in Survey Points >> Spread Input and press the ‘Delete’ button on the keyboard.
Survey Points Group Colour #
A project can have several survey points groups. Users can differentiate the imported survey point groups by their colour using ‘Point Group’ at Earthwork>>Survey Points>>Manage.
Delete Survey Point #
To delete the survey point, user may go to Earthwork Module > Input > Import Manage
After that, the Survey Point Group Manager dialogue box will pop up. The survey group that the user wants to remove can be selected by ticking the box and then clicking the “Delete” button
Merge Survey Point #
User can combine multiple survey point groups into a single survey point group. Go to Earthwork Module > Input > Import Manage
The Survey Point Group Manager dialogue box will appear after that. If user wants to activate the merge function, user must choose more than one group of survey points. By checking the box next to the survey group the user wants to merge, user can then click the “Merge” button
After that, the Survey Point Merge Group dialogue box will appear. User may rename the newly merge survey point
OR, use the drop-down menu to add the newly merge survey point to an already-existing survey point group
Next, user just click the ‘OK’ button to implement the changes
