Click Add in Project View to create a new MSMA project. Choose IDF under the dropdown list button, select MSMA 1st Edition, create the name of the project and click Create.
Click the project that has been created in Project View. In the Input tab, users have to input the Storm Duration which can be input manually or calculated by using the calculator. The equation used for each category is different.
Select ARI and location, click Next button.
Output shows the factors and coefficients that are used in calculating the rainfall intensity.
Click the Analyse button to show rainfall intensity and rainfall depth.
Click General, IDF Curve tab and Textual Report tab to show IDF graph and detail calculation respectively.
