MiTS 2 allows user to insert the exact length of entity. To do that user may click at the line’s starting point and then input the required distance.
Common steps to input length:
- User must click on the entity’s starting point.
- Move the mouse in the direction of the entity.
- Enter the length number in metres.
Earthwork #
In earthwork, users can insert the platform line edge distance in metres by clicking on the line’s starting point. Then, move the cursor towards the platform edge direction and input the required distance. This allows the user to specify the exact length of the entities.
Drainage #
In drainage, the user can enter the length of the drain required by clicking at the drain’s starting point, then move the cursor toward the drain’s direction, and simply enter the length number to input the length in metres.
Water #
In water, the user can enter the length of the pipe required by clicking at the water pipe’s starting point, moving the cursor toward the water pipe’s direction, and entering the length in meters by simply clicking the length number.
Sewerage #
In sewerage, the user can enter the required length of the sewer pipe by clicking at the sewer pipe’s starting point. Then, move the cursor in the direction of the sewer pipe, and typing the length in meters.
