‘All Reset Default’ and ‘Project Reset Default’

1 min read

Starting from MiTS 3.2, we introduced these ‘All Reset Default’ and ‘Project Reset Default’ buttons in the Project Settings (Options > Project Settings). If you are our user from before the MiTS 3.2 release, you will probably notice that there is an ‘extra’ button compared to previous released versions where there is only one ‘Default’ button.

What is the Function of These Two Buttons? #

Generally, these two buttons function to reset the project parameters to default. But what is the difference and in what condition will you need these buttons?

Project Reset Default #

This ‘Project Reset Default’ button will only be activated when you open a project file. Once you click this button, all the parameters of your currently opened project file will follow the default parameters. Make sure to click ‘OK’ after clicking the button

Notice the ‘Project Reset Default’ button is not available when you don’t open any project file.

All Reset Default #

Once this ‘All Reset Default’ button is clicked, all the parameters of your currently opened project file will follow the default parameter and in addition to that, the project settings on that machine will be reset also. This means that after you click this button, parameters of all newly created project files on your device will also follow the default settings.

In other words, “All Reset Default” means that “Project Reset Default” + click Reset when no project is opened, which will reset the machine defaults
