Sometimes when user modelling their vertical alignment, they might encounter problem where the number of points vs lines vs curves not tally which resulted in an error and cannot proceed to analyse.

User may do some checking on the vertical alignment input via ‘number of points vs number of lines vs number of curves’.

Checking on vertical alignment input;

  1. Number of lines = number of points + 1
  2. Number of curves = number of lines – 1

*for points ; go to vertical alignment >> point >> spread input

*for lines ; go to vertical alignment >> lines >> spread input

*for curves ; go to vertical alignment >> curves >> spread input

For example;

Image 1: number of points = three (3) points
Image 1: number of points = three (3) points
Image 2: number of lines = two (2) lines
Image 2: number of lines = two (2) lines
Image 3: number of curves; no curves generated
Image 3: number of curves; no curves generated

From image 3, user can see that there is no curves generated.

To solve this issue, user may delete and re-input the vertical points and the curve will be generated.
