Improvements and Fixes for MiTS 2.11

New Feature

Road

  • Snap Rounding Option for Road Platform: Added a new option to round the edges of road platforms for smoother transitions
  • Gradient Display in Cross-Section: Introduces an option to show the road gradient as a percentage in cross-sections

MSMA

  • Defining Pre-Development Pervious and Impervious Areas for OSD Swinburne Method: Allows users to define the pervious and impervious areas in the pre-development stage for the OSD Swinburne method
  • Apply CCF Factor Only to Post-Development Stage: Users can now apply the CCF factor exclusively to the post-development stage for pond designs
  • Specify Pervious and Impervious Area Percentages in OSD Simplified Method: Added the option to specify the percentage of pervious and impervious areas in the OSD Simplified method
  • Implement LandUse and Fitted Coefficients for OSD Swinburne method Secondary Otlet ARI: Introduces LandUse and Fitted Coefficients for more accurate calculations in OSD Swinburne method Secondary Outlet ARI
  • Include ‘Use 7-0% of PSD’ for OSD SSR Computation: Added the option to use 70% of the PSD for OSD SSR calculations

Earthworks

  • MasterString Centerline as CenterPoint in Cut Sections: MasterString centerline is now used as the reference point for cut sections
  • Differentiate Cut and Fill Slope-In by Color: Cut and fill sope-in can now be visually differentiated by color for improved clarity
  • Error Handling for Slope Analysis Without Survey Data: Enhanced error messaging when performing slope analysis without survey data
  • Remove Top Soil legend from Cross-Sections and Cut Sections: Removed the Top Soil legend from cross-sections and cut sections to simplify views
  • Sum Cut and Fill Values in DTM Report: Added the row for the total of cut and fill values in the DTM report

Road

  • Out-of-Range Vertical Alignment Grades as Warning: Out-of-range vertical alignment grades are now shown as warnings rather than errors, allowing for greater flexibility in design

Sewer

  • Drop at Swer End Displayed in Excel Report: The drop at the sewer end is now included in the Excel report for more detailed analysis
  • Sewer Analysis Proceeds Despite Failure: Sewer design analysis will now proceed even if some failure occurs, providing partial results when necessary

MSMA

  • IDF Graph Displays All ARI Indicator Lines: The IDF graph now shows all ARI indicator lines for improved data visualization
  • Include Irregular Pond Dimensions Details in Report: Irregular pond dimensions details are now included in the MSMA report for more comprehensive pond design documentation
  • Increase Decimal Precision for MSMA Input: The number of decimal places for MSMA input fields has been increased for greater calculation accuracy
  • Adjustable Primary Outlet Cd in OSD MSMA 1 and Swinburne Method: The Primary Outlet Cd is now adjustable for both OSD MSMA 1 and Swinburne method.
  • Display Qp Value According to Selected Parameters: The Qp value now displays based on the selected parameters
  • Display Reduced PSD Column for 70% Qpre or 70% PSD Options: A new column for Reduced PSD is displayed 70% QPre or 70% PSD is selected for calculations
  • Add CCF Display Box for MSMA Fitting Constants: A display box for MSMA fitting constants, CCF has been added for easier access and reference

General

  • 3D View Layer Edge Style: Fixed an issue where edge styles for 3D view layers were not functioning as expected
  • Cannot Change ‘Import Polyline’ Option in All-In-One Import: Resolved the issue preventing users from changing the ‘Import Polyline as Polyline or Line’ option during import
  • Slow Loading and Scrolling: Improved performance to reduce delays when loading drawings and scrolling
  • MiTS Fails to Launch After Installation: Fixed the issue that prevented MiTS from launching after installation
  • Crashing MiTS Window: Fixed a bug where the MiTS window did not close properly when ‘Save and Continue’ or ‘Continue, Dont Save’ was selected
  • Software Freeze: Addressed an issue where the software froze, and only the Spread Input remained responsive

  • ‘Sequence Contains No Elements’ Error During Slope Analysis: Fixed the error that occurred when running slope analysis without survey data
  • Platform Size Issue at Boundary Line: Resolved the issue where smaller platforms were auto-created after importing a boundary
  • Watershed Delineation Crash: Addressed the crash that occurred when performing watershed delineation analysis
  • Incorrect Corner Elevation: Fixed the issue where corner elevation inputs were not reflected correctly in the Platform Editor
