MiTS 2

New Feature

  • User now can sync MiTS 2 Project File to Civil 3D
  • User can now insert title block for cross-section/cut-section layout
  • User can customize the layout scale for cut-section with title block
  • Some MiTS 3.0 feature can be access if user using the Cloud License
  • User can named the Running System for Water Rec/Drain/Sewer

Earthwork

  • Allow merging of Earthwork and Road Platform
  • Add Tracing Drawing in 3D IFC Export file
  • User can choose a different meshing method for each survey point group when computing two separate survey point groups.

Road

  • User can choose which guidelines they want to use for Curve Widening Table either AASHTO or ATJ
  • User can choose which details that need to be included in the Road Cross-Section
  • User can choose multiple option of Horizontal Curve Calculation
  • User can edit the spiral length value
  • User enters a runout length value that less or more than the ATJ, a warning will appear at verification tab

Drain

  • The IL of the node is been displayed in the Input Screen

Water

  • Output for Water Reticulation as per Syarikat Air Johor (SAJ) standard
  • User can choose whether to segregate or not the results as per their submission requirement
  • In the Textual Report, the inner and the outer pipe diameter is shown

MSMA

  • Implementation of Sharp Crested Weir method for Secondary Outlet of Detention Pond

    • Sediment Yield is included in Site Condition
    • C & P factor is include in the Calculation and Detailing
    • User can define site condition remark
    • Runoff Coefficient is include so user can just refer directly during the design process

Clash Analysis

  • Clash analysis will check the crossing utilities even the utilities is at the different level
  • Long Section also showing same utilities crossing each other at different levels

Enhancements

  • When reopened, the filter on the verification tab will use the most recent settings
  • User can eliminate ‘Degenerated points’ during survey point import process
  • Zoom in and pan around more smoothly because software takes shorter time to process and respond to cursor movement.
  • Snap function more snapper
  • User can choose to backup file with or without loupe file to reduce the size of the zip backup file

Earthwork

  • Software will give user tool tip when user try to do Cut and Fill analyze without importing the survey point

Road

  • Input screen would not zoom out when selected an element

Drain

  • Drainage analysis more consistent
  • Software will produce a warning when drainage diameter is smaller than freeboard
  • User may choose the average velocity equation for open drains
  • User no need to insert the H1 value for the Block, RC as it will be computed by software

Water

  • User can edit column sequence and description for summary table
  • In Schematic Plan can show the name of ‘Running Network’ for pipes
  • Output result is in 3 decimal point as per RSAJ Requirement

Sewer

  • There will be a warning if the pipe length is not entered correctly. However, it will have no effect on the analysis process

MSMA

  • Tcpost > Tcpre warning will appear at both Time-Area method and Rational Method
  • User can redownload Google Terrain Map when the Rainfall Gauge Map is not displayed with a Google Terrain Map
  • By default there is no checking of Q primary outlet against PSD at OSD design

Bugs Fixes

  • No crashes when to change the Water Level layers color
  • When click at the toggle entity, only utilities layers ‘ON’
  • 3D screen will not switch to any other screen when user try to click node/pipe
  • Now when user save the project with name contain “/” character or any invalid character there is a warning will popup

Earthwork

  • User can proceed design dry sediment basin when Tc > 60 min

  • After breaking the platform, the platform height data will immediately update with the inputted height.
  • Slope produced start/end at the platform/OGL
  • When a user clicks the Next/Previous Platform button in Platform Editor, the input screen is directly reflected to show which platform it is.
  • Cross-Section shows All will now showing all cross-section include MasterStrings and End Area without missing any cross-section

  • User can delete the drain size at the Project Parameters

Water

  • User may make changes Running Pipe system at Project Parameters without crash when user make any other changes

  • User can sync MES Modules Project File Directly to MiTS 2 smoothly

Sewer

  • QS report can be included during the Batch Report
  • The Colebrook-White Equation is included in the Textual Report
  • MiTS 2 can open the SewNet (MES Module) project file
  • User can input Main Forces properties
  • Deleting sewer pipes and nodes respond immediately

MSMA

  • User may Batch Export for graphs output without error
  • Pond details will instantly update when user change the pond type at pond sizing and click the ‘Synchronize with MiTS-Earthworks’
  • EW Pond Platform can be synced as usual even if another pond platform is close the assigned pond platform
  • Pond platform can be synchronization in Pond – Time Area Method
  • IDF Value will follow drain synchronized value for Pond design

MCIntegrator

  • User can synchronized MiTS 2 Project file into Civil 3D
  • Allow full synchronization of 3D View
  • Specific warning will be produced if MiTS 2 project file is cannot open in Civil 3D
  • Fix on the disconnected of pipe and fittings when editing the MiTS 2 Project file in Civil 3D
  • Warning will be given is 3D View path is missing instead of program crashing
  • User can edit pressure networks and pipe networks for the infrastructure entities in Civil 3D without crashes
  • Software will produce warning when user not update the 3D View file in Civil 3D after make changes in MiTS 2
  • User can sync utilities object as CIVIL Object fully without a bug
