Update in MiTS 3's Road Module

The latest update to the Road module in MiTS 3 enhances performance, accuracy, and flexibility. Improvements in road design workflows, faster processing speeds, and better transition handling ensure a smoother and more efficient user experience.

Road Width Element Customization

The Custom Element Editor in MiTS 3 allows users to define road components tailored to their project needs. Found under Options > Project Settings > Road > Design > Road Width, it enables adjustments to cross slope, bulge, label, and synthetic thickness for precise road design. Users can modify element positions and properties to match standards like ATJ 8/86, ensuring accurate road width composition.

Enhancement on Textual Report

In MiTS 2, only the Superelevation Report was available in textual format. With MiTS 3, users now have textual reports for both Horizontal Detailing and Vertical Detailing, providing structured data extracted directly from the respective drawing plans. This addition enhances documentation, making it easier to review and analyze road design details.

Cross Section Chainage Interval per Road Branch

The Cross Section Chainage Interval can now be set individually for each road branch, allowing greater flexibility in road design and output. The value in Project Parameters will apply only to new road branches created after the change. For existing road branches, users can adjust the chainage interval by selecting the road, navigating to Cross Section, and modifying the interval in the Properties tab on the right-hand side panel.
