Performance Enhancement
MiTS 3 brings a major speed boost with a reworked runtime, making all operations significantly faster. Benchmark tests, including a 450KM road project, show over 30% performance improvement compared to MiTS 2. Project loading, transitions, and computations are now much quicker, ensuring a smoother and more efficient experience.
Theme Customization
Theme customization allows users to personalize the appearance of the software interfaceto suit their preferences. There are pre-designed themes in dark and light modes. By enabling theme customization, users can create a visually comfortable and engaging experience tailored to their needs.
Measure in 3D View
The 3D distance measurement feature ensures utility distances in the generated 3D view match those in the 2D plan, with minimal discrepancies due to point selection.
Auto-adjust Invert Levels Resolving Clashes
The AutoAdjust (BETA) feature in MiTS 3 helps resolve vertical clearance issues by automatically lowering the lower of two clashing pipes or drains. It adjusts based on invert levels, but cannot modify pipes or drains with fixed start or end invert levels. For example, if water pipes have fixed depths, only the drain can be lowered to ensure clearance.
Auto Fix for Resolving Design Issues
The Auto Fix function in MiTS 3 can automatically corrects certain design conflicts, such as resolving overlapping platform issues . Users can easily identify errors through Input > Verification and use the Auto Fix button to resolve them instantly. Instead of manually adjusting multiple design elements, the software intelligently corrects overlapping platforms and other design inconsistencies. By automating these fixes, Auto Fix enhances efficiency, reduces errors, and streamlines the design process.
Result Viewer for Utility Module
The Result Viewer will display the status of utilities directly on the Input Screen and Key Plan. Previously, analysis results were only available in Excel reports, but now users can instantly see whether drains, pipes, or sewers pass, fail, or have warnings. After running an analysis, clicking the Result Viewer button will open a categorized list of results (Pass, Warning, Failed) in the RHS panel, allowing users to easily locate and highlight specific elements. Additionally, users can adjust the transparency of these status layers for better visibility through Input Settings or the Result Viewer tab.
Rotate Entity
MiTS 3 now includes a Rotate feature, allowing users to rotate objects around a selected base point. This enhances design flexibility, making adjustments easier and more precise. Users can set rotation angles interactively for better control.
Enhanced MCIntegrator for BIM Integration
MiTS 3 introduces an upgraded MCIntegrator, offering better BIM integration with Civil 3D. This enhancement ensures smoother data exchange, improved compatibility, and more efficient workflows between MiTS 3 and Civil 3D. Users can now experience seamless synchronization of design elements, reducing manual adjustments and enhancing project accuracy.
