Existing Road

To change the gradient of carriageway, shoulder and verge of existing road, go to:

Carriageway

Super-elevation > Spread Input > Adjust Cross Slope Rate % value

Shoulder

Road Width > Adjust Shoulder Cross Slope,% in Properties tab on RHS

Verge

Options > Parameters > Analysis > Design > Verge Slope, % (Adjust the value)

* Verge slope gradient is calculated independently if “Verge Slope Independent of Shoulder,%” is set as True. If it is changed to False, verge slope is calculated cumulatively from shoulder slope. Calculation of the gradient can be referred in the spreadsheet. Click Here.

New Road

All values set in the Parameter will be applied towards new road design.
