How to fix the MES.CGAPI.dll missing problem

1. Firstly, check whether MES.CGAPI.dll is inside the application folder.

a. If ‘YES’, then check whether the CGAL-vc”xxx”-mt-”yyy”.dll.

i. If “xxx” is 100, then Install VC++ 2010 redistributable from this link:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=26999

ii. If “xxx” is 120, then install VC++ 2013 redistributable,

(https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=40784)

*Make sure that you select the correct OS version for this purpose

b. If ‘NO’, please contact MES support for help

2. Make sure that you are on Windows XP SP 3 or above.

You may download dependency walker from this link: https://www.dependencywalker.com/ to open the MES.CGAPI.dll file to check it

GetLogicalProcessorInformation function (KERNEL32.dll)
  • User might possibly be running Windows XP with SP lower than 3. Ask user to upgrade to SP3
    • The function is only defined in SP 3
  • For Windows 7 user is suggest to upgrade to Windows 7 Service Pack 1
