# Shortcut Keys in MiTS 2

Starting in MiTS 2.5.23.0 onwards, some shortcut keys from AutoCAD are now being implemented in MiTS . 

Below are list of shortcut keys implemented;

| **MES Shortcut Keys ** | **ACAD Shortcut Keys** | **Explanation ** |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Ctrl + N | Ctrl + N | Open file dialog to load a mits project file |
| Ctrl + O | Ctrl + O | to open new drawing |
| Ctrl + S | Ctrl + S | to save a drawing file |
| Ctrl + Shift + S | Ctrl + Shift + S | to save the drawing as new file / for 'save as' |
| Ctrl + Z | Ctrl + Z | to undo last action in the drawing |
| Ctrl + Y | Ctrl + Y | to redo the last undo action which have been performed |
| Ctrl + Tab | Ctrl + Tab | to cycle through all open drawing tabs |
| Ctrl+P | Ctrl + P | Print |
| Ctrl+Shift+C | CLOSE / CLOSEALL | Close |
| Ctrl+Shift+Z | ZIP | Backup/zip |
| Delete | Delete | Delete all selected entities |
| Ctrl+A | Ctrl+A | Select all entities on the screen |
| C | C | to close input command |
| OP | OP | open options windows which contains most of the settings of AutoCAD, or show Parameter dialog |
| F3 | F3 | Snap |
| F8 | F8 | Orthogonal |
| F10 | F10 | Polar coordinates |
| DI | DI | Measure |
| AA | AREA | Measure area |
| P | P | Pan |
| zi | - | Zoom In |
| zo | - | Zoom Out |
| zw | Z spacebar W | Zoom Window |
| ze | Z spacebar E | Zoom Extents |
| za | Z spacebar A  | Zoom All |
